Everyone must agree that the advantages of watching television are very considerable. But beside those benefits, there are some disadvantages that we must notice to be sure that we watch television most effectively. Everything contains good side and bad side and television has no exception. Technology has grown at a tremendous fast rate and continues to progress rapidly. Today’s children are presented with technology at a young age, they essentially do not know a world that is not electronically connected or without digital gadgets.

TV Can Provide Good Role Models for Kids. TV can help kids learn about a variety of subjects. Through media, kids can explore places, animals, or things that they could not see in their life. TV shows can inspire kids to try new activities and engage in “unplugged” learning. TV and movies can motivate kids to read books. Kids can build analytical skills by discussing media. Parents can use TV to help kids learn the truth about advertising. It increases their knowledge by watching various channels, vocabulary by watching English movies, shows etc. They can learn about different people and places.
