The intro paragraph of the essay will state the main idea of the essay, and will also usually contain the thesis statement. The paragraphs to follow will contain the main ideas, and usually one main idea of the topic is enough for one full paragraph. While writing the rough draft, the writer shouldn’t worry too much about grammar, spelling, or sentence structure.
